Texarkana Texas City Council Takes up Fire Stations
The Texarkana Texas City Council meets this evening at 6PM at Texas side City Hall.
They will be taking up some rezoning issues, and focus on land to purchase for future Fire Stations, among other items. Here is a complete agenda:

Upcoming Joint City Meeting: The Texarkana Chamber of Commerce will host a “Joint Texarkana Community Committee” meeting with Texarkana, Arkansas, on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Ark-Tex Council of Governments building located at 4808 Elizabeth Street, Texarkana, Texas. The topic of the meeting is “Crime in Texarkana” and it is open to the public.

Resolution No. 2018-048 delegating authority to the City Manager for site selection, purchase price, and purchase of multiple tracts of real property for locating future fire stations, with the aggregate purchase prices not to exceed project funds approved in the 2017 capital improvement plan.
