We are officially into the dog days of summer and even though this weekend may not be packed full of events, there are still some great things to check out the last weekend of July.

Fill The Truck - Friday and Saturday

This is your chance to help out the Pleasant Grove Band Boosters and help 'Fill the Truck'  with snacks and drinks. The truck is located at the parking lot of the Walmart Neighborhood Market located at 3520 Richmond Road in Texarkana from 8 AM to 6 PM both days. Making it easy for you. All you need to do is add an item to your shopping list. Whether you are going inside or if you are ordering pick up, remember to let the Walmart employee know what items are donations.

Gateway Farmers' Market

Open Saturday 7 AM to Noon with their  Salsa Contest at 9 AM in
