Join the speakers once a month for the next several months. The series is open to the public and it's free and sponsored by the School of Professional Education and Community Engagement.
History of the Future That Never Was Friday, August 23
Dr. Craig Nakashian, Dean of the Honors College, will examine where some of the futuristic concepts came from and the chances we might see them in the future. Concepts like flying cars and robot butlers. Yes, can you say The Jetsons?
Movement for Daily Life Friday, September 27
This session will be hosted by Dr. Heather McKnight, the Dean of the College of Nursing, Health, and Human Services. The focus will be on exercise routines that you can easily implement into your lifestyle and feel better physically and mentally.
Savvy Savings for Seniors October 25
Hosted by Jay Davis, Executive Director of Financial and Entrepreneurship Engagement. He will tell you great budgeting tips and smart spending practices to help seniors with their financial independence.
All these sessions will take place at the University Center building, Room 326. All three sessions with begin at 10:30 AM.
