Texas and Arkansas Early Primary Voting Starts Tuesday, 2/20

This could be the nastiest political season ever, and the early voting for the Texas and Arkansas Primaries begins tomorrow, Tuesday, February 20, 2024.

The first thing you will notice is that the ballots must have been printed a while back, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is still there, along with others who have dropped out of the race including:

Chris Christie
Asa Hutchinson
Vivek Ramaswamy
and a few others...

Right now, the race for the Republican top of the ticket is between front-runner Donald J. Trump and Nikki Haley.

In Texas you can only vote in a Primary for the political party you are a part of, Democrats cannot vote in Republican Primaries and vice versa.

The Republican and Democrat Primaries in Texas begin on Tuesday, February 20, and end on Friday, March 1. Bowie County voters can participate in our great Republic by casting your ballots at the following locations:

Bowie County Courthouse - 710 James Bowie Dr., New Boston, TX 75570
Southwest Center - 3222 W. 7th St, Texarkana, TX 75501
Walnut Church of Christ - 2720 Moore’s Ln, Texarkana, TX 75503

Polling place times vary but are generally either 8 AM - 6 Pm or 7 AM - 7 PM.

Okay, technically early voting in the primary elections for Arkansas began today, Monday, February 19, but I couldn't fit all of that in the headline.

Early voting hours: 8 AM - 6 PM Monday - Friday, then 10 AM - 4 PM on Saturdays. Early Vote ends March 4 at 5 PM.
