Tiger Pride & Professional Skills as TISD Set to Unveil State-of-the-Art Innovation Hub
There is going to be a big celebration coming up. The Texarkana Independent School District will hold a festive official opening of the new Career and Technical Education (CTE) Innovation Center at Texas High School, with a community ribbon cutting on Thursday, March 19, at 5 PM.
Students, staff, and community members are invited to attend this event, which will recognize the voters whose support of the district’s 2022 bond made the new facility possible. District leaders say the center represents a continued investment in hands-on learning opportunities to prepare students for college, careers, and leadership in the workforce.

Tiger Spirit to Kick Off Celebration
The celebration will begin with performances from the Texas High Band, Cheerleaders, and Highsteppers. Leadership students will also recognize the community for supporting the 2022 bond initiative that helped make the project a reality.
Expanded Opportunities for Career Education at TISD
Visitors will be able to tour the region’s largest culinary arts suite, explore the new dental assistant lab, and see the new home for the district’s robotics team and student media programs, including Tiger Vision, Tiger Times, and the Tiger Yearbook.
Guests will get a first-hand taste of the program’s success, with culinary students preparing samples in the center’s professional-grade kitchens.
