What do you think would be the best, the coolest hidden wonder in Arkansas? What about in Texas? Well, thanks to our friends at Stacker we now know. They used information from Atlas Obscura and came up with these hidden wonders. They looked at the number of people that want to see a particular site and then they looked at the number of people that said they had actually been to the place. The sites that had the least 'been there's' made them more obscure and hidden so they made the list.

What is Texas's Coolest Hidden Wonder?

Newman's Castle

This beauty is located in Bellville, Texas. It was built by a man named Mike Newman, he also has a bakery in Bellville too. Have you been here before? This castle is open for tours and you can find out more information about it at  newmanscastle.com. I must admit this is now on my bucket list.

There are a few stories of this mystery light but the most famous is the story of a railroad foreman named William McClain who was murdered on the tracks by one of his employees. The light that has been seen hovering over the tracks at night is thought to be McClain's lantern as he searches the area for his severed head.
