Yeah...Yeah...Yeah! The Beatles are coming to Texarkana! Well, actually the best "Beatles tribute band in the world" 1964:The Tribute is set to return to the Perot Theatre on Saturday, July 20 back by popular demand.I grew up in the 60s  and remember listening to The Beatles on the radio. Back then it was Elvis Presley and The Beatles that seemed to dominate the music charts. Guess I was fortunate enough to grow up in a time when things were changing musically. To be around when two of the most iconic names in rock n' roll history were at the top of their game was pretty awesome. Everyone knows I have always been a huge Elvis fan but I also loved the Beatles as well. I can remember buying all their records and pretending to be a Beatle singing their songs with my friends for fun. I even grew my hair out long and blamed it on The Beatles for making me do it.  When I think about it, I pretty much wore out the grooves on the album "Let It Be" yeah, the good ol' days of vinyl records.

I'm really excited about 1964:The Tribute coming back to Texarkana. I was totally blown away from their performance of the fab 4. You know, The Beatles and Elvis if you impersonate them you better be spot on or you are going to hear about it from the fans. I've always said there like the untouchables you're either going to do it really good or really awful. But these guys knocked it out of the ballpark last time they were here.

These long time musicians not only resemble them but sounded like them, acted like them, talked like them and had all their mannerisms and sense of humor as well. From the instruments they were playing on stage you can tell they paid attention to every detail of what The Beatles represented back then.

Lisa is a huge Beatles fan and she was out of town last time they were here and I told her all about it, actually I rubbed it in. She is very excited about seeing them this year and of course, I may just have to strap her in her seat with restraints. Check out Lisa's blog about her love for The Beatles.

This is the Beatles tribute concert you don't want to miss! They are hailed by critics and fans alike as THE most authentic and endearing Beatles tribute, which has earned them the distinction from Rolling Stone Magazine as the "Best Beatles Tribute on Earth".

This concert is sure to sell out so get your tickets while you still can at the Perot box office. Tickets are $49, $43 and $33 with half-priced student tickets in the balcony.
