Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs, Ark. is gearing up for its Tulip Extravaganza March 22-April 19 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Imagine more than 148,000 very colorful vibrant tulips of every color and variety from red, pink, and violet. In addition to the tulip show, the smell of hyacinths and daffodils fill the air as you walked through this spectacular garden. The beauty of white azaleas and thousands of delicate dogwood trees will captivate your senses along the way.

With Easter coming up, Garvan Woodland Gardens is planning an Eggscellent Easter. Bring the family out to learn one of the world's oldest practiced art forms known as Pysanky, or Ukranian eggs, created through a simple batik process that uses wax and dyes with the results impressive. It's fun to watch the kids eyes light up as they reveal their final design underneath the wax as it melts away. All supplies provided and open to children 6 and older, parental supervision required.
