UA Moves Forward With Plans For Football Center

I'm excited about the new football center that's being planned at the UA. As nice as DWR Razorback Stadium is, the facilities unseen by most fans have been lacking for years and some major needs for the program are finally being addressed. I have really been impressed with Jeff Long over the past few years. He really gets it. It's going to take more than a high payed, "elite" coach to get Arkansas to the next level consistently and Mr Long is doing those things. The future of Razorback football is looking better and better all the time.

The next step is to seek approval from the University Board of Trustees to move forward with construction plans. The Athletic Department is requesting approval for a financing plan that would allow the project to proceed based on private funding that has already been secured.
