UA Hope-Texarkana Fall Enrollment Increases for Third Straight Year
The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana welcomed 1,307 students this semester, marking three straight years of increased fall enrollment. This is the largest fall enrollment since 2019.
Chancellor Dr. Christine Holt said in a press release,
We are excited about the positive trajectory of enrollment at UAHT. With enrollment rising for the third consecutive year, it’s clear that more people are recognizing the value of accessible, flexible, and affordable education at UAHT as a gateway to opportunity and growth.
She went on to say that UAHT's goal is to keep costs low. They can do this by offering all the scholarships along with the Hempstead Guarantee, and Arkansas state scholarships. The university is providing one of the best values in higher education. They also offer early college high school programs, technical training, health professions, and general education degrees. There are so many opportunities available for every student.
UAHT has more than 50 certificates and degrees that help students get good jobs or transfer to a four-year university. Students can earn their Associate of Arts in General Education degree online or in person.

Some of the in-demand programs include Fiber Optic Technician, Truck Driver Training, Cybersecurity, Solar Energy Technology, and more.
