
Don’t Miss Out, UAHT Kids’ College Registration Ends Soon
Time is running out for you to sign your child up for the Kids' College 2025 at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana. The deadline to register is Friday, May 23. This popular summer program is all about giving kids a hands-on experience that is full of fun while they learn.
The classes all take place on the UAHT campus in Hope, Arkansas. Just some of the classes the kids will be involved in are Jungle Fuel - Nutrition Adventures, Jungle Drama, Wonders of Africa, ASL(sign language) Exploration, Safari Escapade, Ukulele for Beginners, Monkey Business, plus Wild Tech Trek and more.
The Kids' College Schedule is
Monday, June 9 to Thursday, June 12th & Monday, June 16 to Thursday, June 19
1st & 2nd Grades will be held from 8 AM to 12 PM
3rd & 4th Grades will be held from 1 PM to 5 PM
Monday, June 16 to Thursday, June 19
5th & 6th Grades 8 AM to 12 PM
Monday, June 16 to Thursday, June 19
5th & 6th Grades from 1 PM to 5 PM
Camp Save a Life at the Hope Campus
7th & 9th Grades Monday, June 23 to Friday, June 27 1 PM to 5 PM
The cost per child is between $75 and $100, depending on the program. Scholarships are available for one week of the Kids' College but you will need to show proof of income to see if you qualify. The scholarships are only a limited amount available and are on a 'first-come, first-served basis'.
Registration forms are available online, you can also apply for the scholarship there. You can also pick up a registration form at Hempstead Hall and mail it back once it is filled out.
