It's that time again, it's time to register for summer and fall classes at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana (UAHT). 

Registration is now open for Summer I and online summer classes that will begin on Monday, June 3. The Summer II classes will start on Monday, July 8, and Fall classes will begin on Wednesday, August 21.

UAHT has over 50 degrees and certificate programs, including an Associate of Arts in General Education degree and all are available 100% online. This way students can earn the first two years of a bachelor’s degree even with a busy schedule.

The Associate of Arts in General Education can also be completed with night classes that are offered at the UA Texarkana campus. UAHT has so many technical programs available too, including Solar Technology, Diesel Technology, HVAC, Electromechanical Technology, Construction Technology, and Welding. Plus, other in-demand programs are offered include Teaching, Funeral Services, EMT & Paramedic, Nursing, Medical Lab Technician, Computer Information Science, Cybersecurity, and more.


Along with the affordable tuition at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texakana, the UAHT Foundation offers their students over 120 privately funded scholarships. There are also financial aid opportunities, institutional scholarships, and work-study programs.

Be sure to look into the “U Can Scholarship,” qualified students can take a free three-hour course. Something special for high school graduates from Hempstead County, Arkansas have the opportunity to attend UAHT at no cost for their first year with the Hempstead Guarantee scholarship.

Another great advantage for students who are receiving an associated degree from UAHT can participate in the Arkansas Transfer Achievement Scholarship. This allows them to transfer to the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and pay UAHT’s affordable tuition rate.
