Volunteers are needed for the upcoming March 14th Making Magnolia Blossom Big Splash event, which will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Magnolia.

For this event, MMB is partnering with the 2020 Leadership Magnolia class which has selected the Boys and Girls Club as its annual project. Volunteers will make updates and improvements to the Club according to the goals set by Leadership Magnolia. Equipment will be provided though volunteers are welcome to bring their own tools, work gloves, etc. Donations of bottled water will also be accepted.

Interested volunteers and groups are asked to pre-register as soon as possible. Check-in/registration will be at the Boys and Girls Club between 8:45 a.m. and 9 a.m. on March 14 with shuttle service at the Reynolds Center parking lot (SAU) between 8:30 and 9. The event begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at 11:30 a.m. For more information or to register by phone, call Deana Taylor at 870-235-4922.

According to the Press Release, MMB has joined forces with other local nonprofits in the past to enhance, beautify and improve areas of the community and make a difference in the lives of many. This is the first time MMB has teamed with Leadership Magnolia, which raises money and puts manpower into a select beautification or improvement project each year.

The Boys and Girls Club of Magnolia is located at 1600 Hollensworth St. in Magnolia, Arkansas.
