Walk Like Madd Fundraiser at Kilgore College April 6

You don't have to travel too far to participate in the "Walk Like MADD" is MADD's signature fundraising event on Saturday, April 6, at Kilgore College in North East Texas. This event is dedicated to helping raise both awareness and funds to eliminate drunk and drugged driving.

Thousands of people will rally together in over 90 cities around the nation to help create a future of No More Victims.  Walkers, teams, event volunteers, vendors and sponsors are still needed. The cut off time is getting near for sponsors to be on the event t-shirt. Can't come to the event but still want to support? Registration for in person walkers is $25 a person. Registration for virtual walkers is any amount that individual wishes to donate in lieu of being present at the event. Those who create teams are allowed to set up, and decorate a team tent. This is an area your team will have set aside for you to gather and hang out. Tents are not provided, only space, tables and chairs. Should you wish to host a team tent (which can be in lieu of a vendor booth if you have a business) you would need to complete a team tent registration form.

There will be activities on site for participants such as making beaded bracelets /necklaces, banner signing, rock painting, a kid zone with a bounce house, a pinwheel garden and many more! The pinwheels are hand made by victims and volunteers and available for purchase on site for $20.

We also invite any vendors (agencies, profit, nonprofit) to set up a booth at the event for free. Vendor registration forms are needed to do this. For more info click here.
