Will You Buy the New Kenny Chesney Sunglasses? How About if the Proceeds Go to Charity?

Normally, I'm all over artists putting their names on products just to make an easy buck.  But this one's cool because the money's going to a good cause.

KENNY CHESNEY has designed his own collection of sunglasses called, wait for it, the Kenny Chesney Limited Edition Costa sunglasses.  There are five different styles and they're not cheap... ranging in price from $149 to $279.

A portion of each sale will go to the Coastal Conservation Association, which is an ocean conservation group.  There are only 10,000 pairs of Kenny's shades being produced so at least you'll feel special if you own a pair.

Here's Kenny's pitch, "It's important for all generations to be able to enjoy the ocean like I did, and I'm proud to partner with Costa to design a line of signature sunglasses that will help support ocean conservation."

The sunglasses will be for sale at all of Kenny's "Goin' Coastal" tour stops... and at costadelmar.com.

While we're on the subject... Kenny Chesney will be doing a free show at The Big Dance Concert Series on Sunday, April 3rd.  It's part of a three-day music festival going down during the Final Four weekend in Houston, Texas.

No word on the specific time of Kenny's show.  KINGS OF LEON will be headlining the free concert the night before, on April 2nd.
