Yellowstone star Kevin Costner who plays John Dutton was spotted duck hunting in Arkansas earlier this month.

Costner is an avid duck hunter who loves spending time in the natural state when he's not busy making movies or TV series such as Paramount's "Yellowstone." According to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, he was spending some quality time with his sons and some hunting buddies. His trips included stops in Weiner, Searcy, DeWitt, and Hot Springs where he got his Arkansas Hunting License from a local outdoor sporting goods store. It was also reported that he also visited Harding University's new indoor practice facility.

An avid outdoorsman Costner announced last year that he plans to open a Hot Springs Museum with memorabilia from his movies and musical career. Some of his most memorable roles include Bull Durham, Field of Dreams, Dances With Wolves, Wyatt Earp, and The Bodyguard.

No word as to when the museum will open but chose Hot Springs because of its interesting history and he has really become really fond of the town. With the addition of the World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day parade held every year downtown many other celebrities have been flocking to the spa city for years. In the prohibition era, Hot Springs was visited on a regular basis by notorious gangster Al Capone along with some other noted mobsters. In fact, the next time you are in Hot Springs be sure to check out the Gangster Museum of America.

Now if we can just get John Dutton aka Kevin Costner to buy a ranch near Hot Springs that would be like icing on the cake.
