This year Jamaica's 2 man bobsled team qualified for the Winter Olympic for the first time since 2002. The road to the Olympics was a tough one, but you just can't keep the Jamaicans down!

When Winston Watts and Marvin Dixon qualified they needed money to cover travel expenses to Russia. So, they got their fans involved! According to espn.go.com

Jamaica needed help, and got it as the team quickly raised $178,000 before telling fans and friends to stop donating.

"We didn't want them to think that we're greedy people," he said. "We said we wanted this to make it possible to get better equipment and that's what our goal was. And apparently it went on and on because people want to achieve and they haven't seen us for a long period of time."

Another hurdle to overcome, when the team got to Russia their luggage was lost or should I say was delayed with crucial equipment so their first day in Russia was spent watching the other teams practice!

Even though they came in 29th out of 30 teams, they made a great impression on people! You couldn't help but smile and root for these guys.

I've been to Jamaica a few times and I love the country, but the people, oh the people of Jamaica I adore! Fingers crossed we see the Jamaican Bobsled Team at the 2018 Winter Olympics!

Someone put together a great video for the Jamaican Bobsled team, check it out below!
