An Escapee’s Mom Arrested in Texarkana

The Mother of one of the escapee's from the Miller County Jail has been arrested in connection with the case.Authorities arrested 55 year old Charlene Stewart who faces charges of furnishing implements for escape. Her son, 36 year old Quincy Stewart used a hacksaw to escape the jail on Memorial Day with his cellmate 23 year old Kortez Hooper.

The pair are suspected in separate homicide cases in the Texarkana area. If you have any information on their whereabouts your are urged to phone 911 or the Miller County Sheriff's Office.
