Burglary Suspect Caught

A concerned citizen helped Texarkana Texas police catch a suspected thief.Authorities say they were called to the 3400 block of Waco Street yesterday in reference to a suspicious person. A male had been observed behind a residence holding a large bag. Within  minutes a male matching the suspects description was located nearby and after a brief foot chase was apprehended.

Police says items allegedly from the residence were recovered. 52 year old Roderick Forte was booked into the Bi-State Justice Center Jail and is awaiting bond on charges of burglary, evading arrest, and parole violation.
