The St. Louis Cardinals are one win away from making it to this year's World Series of Baseball. The Cardinals lead the best of seven NLCS three games to one over the Los Angeles Dodgers after winning 4-2 last night in L-A. The two teams play again this afternoon in California. A win by St. Louis sends them to the Series.

Former Pleasant Grove star Michael Wacha, who won Game Two of the NLCS last Saturday is set to pitch Game Six in St. Louis on Friday night should the Dodgers win today and extend the series.

If the Cardinals win today,  Wacha would likely start either Game One or Two of the World Series next week against the winner of the Boston Red Sox/Detroit Tigers ALCS.

Boston leads that series two game to one, with Game Four slated for tonight in Detroit. Will Middlebrooks who was a star player for Liberty-Eylau plays for the Red Sox and started a big rally in Sunday nights Boston victory.

Good luck to both Michael Wacha and Will Middlebrooks.
