April 10, 2012 One of my favorite memories growing up in Texarkana was looking forward to the annual Scout-O-Rama every year. I enjoyed being a part of the fun that the local scouts put together for this once a year event.
April 2, 2012 Flowers are in full bloom, Easter is this weekend and so is the annual Walk MS Saturday, April 7th at Bobby Ferguson Park in Texarkana, Arkansas. I will be there to help with some of the MC duties and handing out some door prizes.
March 30, 2012 My wife works for Kohl's and their company has a program called 'Kohl's Cares' (committed to kids health and education) in which employees of the store are asked to do volunteer work for a local children's charity or event in our community. Recently, my wife asked me if I would be willing to go along and support her at an event for physical, social and mentally disabled kids at the Runnin' WJ Ranch in Texarkana.

March 19, 2012 The 44th Annual Jonquil Festival 2012 took place in Old Washington, Arkansas over the weekend. The weather turned out to be very nice but unfortunately, the Jonquils had already bloomed so there was not many flowers to look at. However, there was plenty to see and do and this year's festival.
