Lisa, JW and I discussed the OWS protests this morning, mainly the video out of CAL Davis that showed police pepper spraying protestors. JW was all upset about how the police acted, while I think what they did was justified. Quite frankly, I've had enough of OWS's protests.

I actually gave the OWS people the benefit of the doubt when the protests first started two months ago. Then, I spent some time reading the 99%'s stories and all I could think was "boo frickety hoo".

Here are the facts kids, life is tough and nobody owes you a thing. I know, I know, you've been raised to believe that it's a requirement to share all your toys, that you should get a present on your sibling's birthday (so you don't feel left out), that you deserve a prize just for showing up. I realize that accepting the fact that life isn't fair and that there will always be winners and lowers is tough to swallow, but at some point in your life you're going to have to look yourself in the mirror and come to grips with reality.

Sorry, but you do NOT represent me, nor is anything you're doing going to benefit my children in any way. All you're doing is showing how juvenile you are and showing a complete disregard for law and order. You occupy public parks, try to block buildings, subways, etc.. Then when the police show up to enforce the law, you spit in their faces and mock them then act surprised when they actually do something about your behavior. GROW UP! If any of the rest of us were to set up camp in a public park we would be tossed out immediately (not two months later). Gather together and protest, that's fine, but all this other stuff you're doing is NOT helping your cause at all.

Go home, take a shower, drop out of your basket weaving class and go find a job or something to do that's productive. America is fed up with your childish behavior.

1.) Stop buying homes you can't afford.

2.) Learn to budget.

3.) Cough, Cough.. really? Don't rich people breathe the SAME AIR WE DO????

4.) The constitution does not guaranty you a job. You have to actually go look for one. If your basket weaving degree won't get you one, maybe you should consider going to a VoTech to actually learn a skill. Sorry your employers expect you to work 40 hours a week like everybody else.

5.) Darn those rich people for working their butts off and climbing the ladder. Which, the majority of millionaires do. Again, NOBODY OWES YOU ANYTHING. You want it, go work hard and get it.

So am I completely missing the point of these protests? Seems like a bunch of spoiled, crying babies throwing a temper tantrum because they can't get their way to me. Gimmee, gimmee! waaa!
