Reception to Honor Outgoing City Leaders

The City of Texarkana Texas will host a reception this Thursday July 26 to honor several outgoing leaders.The reception will be in honor of former Mayor Stephen Mayo, former Ward 1 Council member Derrick McGary and retiring City Manager Dr. Larry Sullivan. The event will be held Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. at City Hall, 220 Texas Boulevard.

Current Mayor Bob Bruggeman says " We are pleased to have the opportunity to pay tribute to these three remarkable leaders. Their service to our community has been intregal to the growth and prosperity Texarkana has experienced in recent years and their positive impact will continue to resonate for years to come."
