Suspect in Two Texarkana Crimes Arrested in Southwest Arkansas

A weekend crime spree has left a Texarkana man jailed in Hempstead County in Southwest Arkansas.Authorities allege that 30 year old Christopher William Heflin stole an SUV from a parking lot. They also believe he stole a purse from a pedestrian victim in the 4000 block of New Boston Road.

A couple of days later authorities in Hempstead County were called to a domestic incident involving Heflin. Upon his arrest, the SUV as well as personal belongings of one of the victims was allegedly found in his possession.

Heflin is facing charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and robbery in Texas. He is currently being held in the Hempstead County Jail in Hope, Arkansas.
