Details are now coming in for George Jones’ funeral on Thursday, May 2 at The Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee. The funeral is expected to start at 10 am (Central) and will be open to the public. Doors will open at 9 a.m. with the service now being broadcast on national television.

George Jones was a true legend, not just in Country Music, but a legend to musicians of every genre. George also knew the music industry as a whole was changing, and in this song he asks a question, I am not sure there is an answer for.

It is a very sad day for country music fans everywhere the loss of perhaps one of the greatest country music singers of all time and true country music legend has died in Nashville.

Such a sad day today. We lost the great George Jones. My husband, John and I had the chance to meet George years ago after a concert.
