New studies have come out about the color of bedrooms and how it affects our sleep. This is so funny to me because my mom always insisted on blue or green walls in the bedrooms of our house. Well, Mom…You were right!! Again!

People with blue bedroom walls actually got the most sleep. and usually woke up feeling positive and happy. The calming affects of the color blue have even been shown to reduce blood pressure.
Other big winners Yellow and Green.
The color to avoid in your bedroom is purple. From the study the color purple is too simulating to the brain. Making it hard for your brain to turn off and relax.
