First Ever 22nd Annual World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade - 6:30 PM

Mark your calendars and get ready to polish up your blarney stone with this one-of-a-kind two-day St. Patrick's Day festival. This parade may only be 98 feet long but it's full of nonstop entertainment from beginning to end on Bridge Street with celebrities, dancers, food, and live music.

 The Parade Starter - March 17

This year, the iconic rap artist Flavor Flav a member of the hip-hop group Public Enemy will be the official Parade Starter, known for his flamboyant personality, unforgettable catchphrases, and signature clock chain, Flavor Flav fans will be excited to see him juice up the crowd for the "First Ever 22nd Annual World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade." Two thousand strings of special commemorative beads will be tossed out by guest celebrities Valerie Bertinell and hip-hop legend Flavor Flav on March 17.

What would the World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade be without some Hollywood glamour? Valerie Bertinelli is an actress and television personality best known for her roles in iconic TV shows "One Day at a Time," and "Hot in Cleveland. Bertinelli is also known for her cooking and baking shows most recently on the Food Network, Valeri's Home Cooking.

Legendary Rock Band - Grand Funk Railroad

Top-selling '70s rock group Grand Funk Railroad performs LIVE in the Bridge Street Entertainment District on Sunday, March 16, at 7 PM. This high-energy show will feature hits like "We're an American Band," "Some Kind of Wonderful," and "I'm Your Captain." Don't miss this exciting FREE concert from this legendary Rock n' Roll band.

The Molly Ringwalds- '80s Tribute Band

March 17

This electrifying highly energetic band from Baton Rouge has been electrifying fans with music from the '80s such as Flock of Seagulls, David Bowie, The Cars, Duran Duran, Adam Ant, Boy George, and Culture Club. The Molly Ringwalds have been one of the most popular groups to participate in the "First Ever 22nd Annual World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade." The FREE concert will follow the parade and wrap up the evening at 8 PM.
