Celebrate Juneteenth In Texarkana: Events And Highlights

June has arrived, which means it's time for the City-Wide Juneteenth Festival on June 21, at the Four States Fairgrounds in Texarkana.

City-Wide Juneteenth Celebration

The Juneteenth celebration is being organized by the Scholars and Sigmas, with musical performances and a 3-on-3 basketball tournament to honor history and celebrate unity in our community. The fun starts at 4 PM and lasts until 11 PM at the Four States Fairgrounds.

Juneteenth Celebration Parade

A parade begins at 5 PM, adding an exciting touch to the celebration.

There will be Juneteenth celebrations all month with plenty of opportunities to engage in activities centered on reflection, learning, and entertainment.

June 28: Terry Rogers 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament and Keeping History Alive Production

3-on-3 Basketball Tournament

The Terry Rogers 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, June 28, at #1 Legion St., Texarkana, Arkansas. The event features a high school division 3-on-3 tournament with cash prizes of $400 for first place, $200 for second place, and $100 for third place. Registration is $10.
