20th Annual Veterans Benefit Chili Cook-off Feb. 15

Texarkana Area Veterans Council presents the 20th Annual Veteran's Benefit Chili-Cook-off on Friday, Feb. 15, from 11AM until 1PM at the Truman Arnold Center/Texarkana College.

You're invited to come taste some of the wildest, tangiest, and most outlandish chili concoctions in North East Texas and Southwest Arkansas. You can taste them all and then cast your vote for your favorite and possibly win some great door prizes. Everyone who enters their team in the chili cook-off will be competing for trophies in three categories: Business, Civic Groups, and Individual. There will also be a "People's Choice" award for best presentation, chosen by the public. All chili must be prepared off site.

Admission is $6.00. All proceeds benefit the Texarkana Veterans Council P.O. Box 5432 to assist local veterans and buy a van when needed for the organization to transport veterans to the VA Medical Center in Shreveport.
