Mark your calendars for Thursday, December 5 and be at the Southwest Community Center for the 21st Annual Bramlett Beans and Cornbread Community Fundraiser from 11AM to 1PM. It's a great lunch and all for a great cause.

The Bramlett Beans and Cornbread event is joining up with the Empty Bowl Project raising money and awareness to end hunger. A $5 donation will get you a bowl of beans, cornbread a drink and dessert.

Or you can bring 6 non-perishable food items. A suggested list of items are:

Canned foods such as soup, vegetables, fruit, tuna and canned chicken.

Packaged foods like rice, pasta, instant potatoes, cereal, oatmeal and toaster pastries. Plus, dry beans, crackers, cookies and candy.

Also needed: Flour, Sugar and cornmeal.
