It's time once again for Randy Sams' Shelter to prepare for the annual Thanksgiving community meal. That meal is coming up on Thanksgiving Day from 11 AM to 1 PM.

The Shelter is in need of volunteers to help with various aspects of the dinner, that would include serving and yes, food donations as well. This event served over 400 people and they are targeting at least 500 for this Thanksgiving.

The Shelter has made a request for the following items:

For those who want to donate, prepared and unprepared food are welcome as well as Plates, Forks, Spoons, Knives, Paper Towels, Cups, Tea, Water, Soda, Kool-Aid, Ice, Cranberry Sauce, Veggies (Corn, Green Beans, Carrots etc.), Rolls, Bread, Turkey, Ham, Chicken, Desserts . Of course volunteers are welcome to come help.

The Randy Sams' Outreach Shelter is located at 402 Oak Street in Texarkana, Texas and is an emergency shelter for adult men and women. The shelter provides its services completely free of charge.
