The 3rd Annual Clay's Golf and Guitars takes place on Saturday May 20, 2017 at Northridge Country Club.

The event starts with a golf scramble at 10AM and ends with a concert that evening from the Jonathan Moody Band at 7PM.  Come ready to listen to some of Jonathan's songs and dance the night away. Food and drinks available for purchase.. "Weather permitting the concert will be held outdoors," said Gail Eichler, event coordinator.  We still have a few golf spots available too for $125.00.  Take a chance on winning a truck with a hole in one on one of the holes.  There will be  many fun prizes available throughout the course as well.

All proceeds will benefit the newly established ArkLaTex 100 Club.  The 100 Club is the only citizen sponsored 501(c)(3) organization benefiting Police Officers and Fire fighters in Bowie and Miller Counties.

Eichler said, in December 2016, the 100 Club was charged with fulfilling its primary purpose.  Unfortunately, Correctional Officer Lisa Mauldin died while at work.  The 100 Club presented her family with $15,000.00 cashiers check within 24 hours of her death.  The 100 club also used money raised  with last years golf and guitars benefit to purchase necessary but un-budgeted life saving equipment.
