Country superstar Alan Jackson may have cancelled his upcoming shows in Charleston and Charlotte NC due to Hurricane Florence this weekend, but he's still on for his concert on Saturday, September 22, in Rogers, Ark., at the Walmart (AMP) Arkansas Music Pavillion.

Jackson was recently honored by becoming the newest member of the prestigious Songwriters Hall of Fame. Already a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, Jackson was inducted in a New York gala event that took place back in June. He now joins a list of top singer-songwriters that include country legends, Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, Loretta Lynn and Willie Nelson. Rockers Mick Jagger, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, John Lennon, Paul McCartney and R&B greats Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye just to name a few.

Jackson has racked up numerous awards throughout his long musical career that includes eighteen Academy of Country Music (ACM) awards, sixteen Country Music Association awards(CMA), and a pair of Grammys as of 2017. Having sold more than sixty-million albums worldwide and ranks as one of the ten best-selling solo artists of all-time in any genre. With countless number one singles and Top 10 hits Alan Jackson is a true country music icon.
