Invitation to the Wyatt Putman Album Release Party in Texarkana

Nashville singer-songwriter and Arkansas native Wyatt Putman takes the stage for a much-anticipated album release party on Saturday, March 2, at Whiskey River Country.

This southern boy from the backwoods of Springhill is just down from Hope Arkansas does more than sling a guitar when he steps onto the stage. From the first note, he's got you hooked with clever lyrics that tell a story whether it be about county living, red-dirt roads, honky-tonk bars, broken hearts, or just straight-up outlaw country Putman knows how to grab an audience and reel them in from start to finish.

The last time I spoke with Wyatt he told me to get ready because he was working on a new album that was going to have some of the best songs he's written. His peers in the Nashville community seem to think the same thing giving him rave reviews of his new album.

The Album

The album, My Kinda Country defines Wyatt Putman as the artist he has become through lots of blood, sweat, tears, and hard work he feels like this is a turning point in his music career but remains humble and feels there is a lot of work to be done.

"I have sacrificed so much time and effort to get to where I’m at and honestly, I haven’t accomplished anything yet. There are so many people to thank, so much creativity, time, and talent went into this project and this is a very important chapter of my life," said, Putman

"These songs are a piece of my soul and they are what I consider to be solid, Southern Dirt Road Country Music, and I am proud of it. I hope y'all are ready for it."

I knew the very first time I heard some of his music this guy had something special and that's very rare these days because you either have it or you don't, I am very happy to say Wyatt has everything it takes to make it far in this crazy music business. I also believe that he has an incredible band with some very talented musicians who can take his musical career to new heights.
