The holiday season is upon us and there is no better way to kick off the season than with the 2nd Annual Festival of Trees in Texarkana this weekend.

This event benefits Fearfully and Wonderfully Made, Inc. a non-profit organization that brings support to families who have a baby in the local NICUs in Texarkana.

When is the Festival of Trees in Texarkana?

The Festival of Trees is Wednesday(November 6) through Saturday(November 9) at the Texarkana Arkansas Convention Center located at 5200 Convention Plaza Drive in Texarkana, Arkansas.

What Are Some of The Events at The Festival of Trees?

The Festival of Trees will have beautifully decorated trees up for auction, plus great activities to help you prepare for the holidays. You can stop in and see the trees for free and the kids can join the Elf Hunt open daily from Wednesday through Saturday from 9 AM to 7 PM.

On Wednesday there will be a Santa's Workshop where children can help Santa by painting Christmas houses that will be a part of the Festival of Trees. You can also learn about healthy eating habits for children and how to make a sweet charcuterie board.

On Thursday you can make beautiful Christmas door hangers, learn great gift-wrapping hacks and kids can enjoy Cookies with Mrs. Claus. There will also be a class on how to mix four festive cocktails.

Friday enjoy Cookies and Cocoa, plus more activities for the kids and at 6:30 PM a chance for the girls to get together or even a date night with Tinis for Preemies.
