Arkansas Country Artist Rachel Edge Sings With Dolly Parton
Remember the name Rachel Edge, she may not be a household name yet but great things are on the horizon for this singer-songwriter from Southwest Arkansas.
Rachel Edge hails from the small town of Umpire, Arkansas, and over the years she has come to appreciate the small-town values and principles that are helping her become the country artist she is today. This talented musician and skillful performer has been performing throughout Arkansas, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana.
Rachel's most exciting endeavor was when she performed in front of a large crowd at Carnegie Hall in New York City alongside classical symphony orchestras, musical theatre productions, jazz ensembles, and many other genres.
But perhaps the biggest accomplishment to date is her chance to sing background vocals with the legendary iconic Doly Parton on her much-anticipated album, Rockstar set for release on November 17, 2023. Rachel sang background vocals on 8 songs off the Rockstar album with Dolly.
Rachel Edge now lives in Nashville, Tennessee where she continues to pursue her musical career and she has been working diligently on her EP to be released in 2024. Be on the lookout next Friday, November 24, for a holiday classic "Hard Candy Christmas" that features Dolly Parton. Watch this special message from Rachel Edge.
When Rachel is not working on her music she loves spending time with her family and friends in Arkansas and in Texarkana. She told me, that when she was 5 years old she used to perform at the Ashdown Jamboree and the Whistle Stop Festival as she grew older.
We're always happy to support local and regional artists who go on to bigger and better things and with a last name like Edge, you can say that Rachel is right on the edge of great things happening in her life.
