Native Arkansan Collin Raye who was a friend of the late Glen Campbell honored him in 2013, with a tribute album that featured some of the most beloved Glen Campbell songs of all time.

Raye, the multi-platinum artist like Campbell was born a small town in Arkansas and several years ago when he had the opportunity to show his respect and admiration to the Rhinestone Cowboy he jumped at the chance. The 12-track album titled, Still On The Line: The Songs of Glen Campbell, is available for purchase here.

According to a press release, Raye issued the following statement on Campbell’s passing:

“My hero... My Friend... Glen Campbell, is gone. My heart is heavy. A lot of memories… the end to a beautiful era in music. His incredible legacy is what we have now. Thank you, my friend, for always treating me as an equal, though clearly I am not. May God comfort your sweet family, and welcome you into His presence. The Heavenly Band, just got way better. I love you, Glen. Happy Trails."
