Get Ready For Ashdown’s Big Community Auction This February

The Ashdown Community Foundation is set to host the 14th annual Ashdown Community Auction in February. Take the short drive from Texarkana to Ashdown for some great auction items.

14th annual Ashdown Community Auction - Ashdown, Arkansas

This exciting event will be held at the Ashdown High School on Saturday, February 7, at 6 p.m.  Auction items will include electronics, firearms, sports memorabilia, getaway trips, coolers, grills, gift certificates, and numerous other items.

Members of the Domtar Community Advisory Team and the Ashdown Community Foundation say the event will feature a live auction, a silent and penny auction, in addition to other fun activities, a prize raffle, and baked goods. Food vendors will also be on hand with a variety of food.

Money Raised Goes Toward Beautification Projects in the City of Ashdown

This marks the 14th year of the community auction that began in 2012. This fundraiser has raised more than $900,000 to help improve downtown and the Ashdown City Park, with this year's fundraising efforts going toward more improvements and beautification in those areas.
