Arkansas State Police Arrest Amity Man on Child Exploitation

Three cheers for the Arkansas State Police and other agencies throughout the Great State of Arkansas as they continue to focus on targeting and arresting child porn consumers, distributors, and producers across the state. The latest report from ASP comes in from Amity, Arkansas, where a man was busted there and charged with 30 counts of Child Sex Abuse materials.

As always, remember everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Back on April 27, 2024, the Arkansas State Police launched an investigation after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The investigation culminated in the arrest of 31-year-old Ethan Fagan of Amity, Arkansas earlier this week on Tuesday, May 13, 2024.

Fagan now faces 30 counts of distributing, possessing, or viewing material depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child. He appeared in Clark County Circuit Court the following day and, as of this writing, is currently still in custody with a bond set at $100,000.

Amity is located just south of Glennwood, Arkansas in Clark County off Hwy 8 between Gleenwood and Arkadelphia.

This is a developing story, however, investigators are continuing to review the evidence and expect additional charges, particularly concerning the potential generation of child sexual abuse material using artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
