Bachelorette Ali Calls it Quits With Roberto – Yes, We Are Surprised, Kinda

Well, Dang! If a couple from The Bachelorette would make it, I thought it would be Ali and Roberto, but it didn't.

PEOPLE reported yesterday that they have split.

As recently as last month, the couple was still living together and still planning on getting married.  Something must have happened. That "something"? I'm sure we will find out soon enough.

On the bright side, it lasted 18 months, which is longer than most of the couples from ABC's The Bachelorette and The Bachelor. Heck, they lasted longer than a lot of relationships period.

Most of the time we aren't very surprised by the break-up on these shows. I mean, come on, the fantasy dates. These people find an attraction but after they are put in real life circumstances...well, real life happens.

Maybe they should change the name of the shows. Seems that going on this reality series  you will remain a Bachelorette or a Bachelor :)
