Is it summer yet? Between last week's cold snap and another Arctic blast headed our way this weekend, I do believe that I  am done with winter.

I'm dreaming of the warmer months right now and I can't wait to get back out on the lake. Of course, Arkansas being The Natural State has some of the most beautiful lakes in the country if not in the world.

World Atlas came out with an article naming the Best Lakeside & River Towns in Arkansas. To tell you the truth, you just can't go wrong with Arkansas lakes and rivers. All of them are beautiful!  And to live in a lake town or near a beautiful river in Arkansas? Priceless.

But if you don't live in one of these towns listed you can be assured that there is at least one of these that is a short drive away. Arkansas lakes are rock bottom and that is what makes them so spectacular. The water is in some places as clear as bath water! My friends and I in the past have joked to pass the shampoo over seeing how clear the water is.
