You can help by supporting the Restored Shopping Event supporting We Are Free event this Saturday, March 9. This great event will take place at the St. James Church Great Hall, located at 417 Olive Street in Texarkana, Texas from 10 AM to 2 PM.
They'll have some beautiful products to sell with inspirational messages. Items for sale include handmade jewelry, drinkware, wall and table decor, home decor, pillows and more. See more items from the Restored Store
Human trafficking is real and it is everywhere even in good, pretty small towns like ours.
As we all become more aware of these crimes and the people affected we also become aware that these survivors need help in a secure and loving environment to help deal with their trauma. They also need help as they re-enter normal life. That is what We Are Free is all about.
Items for sale were made by survivors of human trafficking. The money will go towards the We Are Free AfterCare Facility.
You can find more information about this event and other ways to help the We Are Free organization as they help human trafficking survivors at their Facebook page, Facebook Events page and website.
