
Update: Boil Water Notice Has Been Rescinded for Leary, Texas
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Leary, Texas, to issue a boil water notice for customers living in the Leary, Texas, community on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
Boil Water Notice Rescinded April 17
The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore its quality. Therefore, the boil water notice has been rescinded as of late Thursday, April 17, 2025. Corrective actions have been taken to restore the quality of the water system, so water is now safe for consumption and any other use.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality laboratory test results indicate that the water no longer requires boiling before use. That's welcome news for residents living in the Leary community, especially heading into Easter weekend.
