Looking for some creepy Halloween fun this weekend? Jefferson, Texas known for being one of the most haunted towns in Texas is celebrating with Boo on the Bayou.

There will be plenty of activities all over town from haunted houses, haunted bridges, haunted tours, and even haunted trails. If you don't believe in ghosts, you will after visiting this quaint little town located in the piney woods of East Texas. I know from a personal experience every time I visit I get an unusual vibe that there is more to this town than you think especially with its historical past.

Here are some of the events you definitely need to check out.

Haunted Trail of Lights - walk under an old 1897 Howe Truss lighted bridge but beware of what lurks around the corner.

Halloween Ghost Tours 8PM and 10:30PM - Learn the haunted history of Jefferson

Lonestar Pumpkin Carriage Ride - Feel like Cinderella as you ride the streets of Jefferson

Shady Lake Witches - Watch the magical dancing skills of these witches at Made in the Shade  but be careful they don't cast a spell on you.

Historic Train Ride - take a ride on a vintage train through the eerie piney woods of East Texas. Times 12:30PM and 2:30PM.

Watch B&W Horror movies at Made in the Shade

Trick or Treat - All day on Saturday, Oct. 27, kids can trick or treat at area restaurants and businesses in Jefferson.

Don't miss Boo on the Bayou from 4PM until 9PM.
