Bri Bagwell and The Banned to Perform in Texarkana May 13
This Saturday May 13, 2017 get ready for Bri Bagwell and The Banned performing in concert at the new BrightStar Theaters in Texarkana at 7:30PM
This very talented singer/songwriter from Las Cruces, New Mexico has been slinging a guitar and singing country music ever since she was a teenager. When Bri turned 18- years old took she moved to Austin, Texas where she attended the University of Texas and began her musical career in a city known for it's live music scene. Eventually her charisma, charm, musical talent and singing won over a new legion of fans and her popularity took off from that point on.
In June 2011 Bagwell released her first CD Santa Fe and during this time became the only female artist on the Texas Music Chart with her single "Banned From Santa Fe." That song led to a song named "Whiskey" which became her first Top 15 hit and surpassed 70,000 YouTube views. For those who might remember, she competed on the CMT realty television show, CMT's Next Superstar Contestant in 2011.
Her self-titled EP was released in 2013 and featured two brand songs "Hound Dog," and "Crazy," which climbed on the Texas Music charts. This singer/ songwriter has done exceptionally well considering she has no record deal or a huge budget. It's been strictly word of mouth. social media and the fans who have given this artist the motivation to do what she's always loved, and that's playing good country music. From what I can hear and see this is just the beginning to a bright future for Bri Bagwell and The Banned.
