Kick off Labor Day weekend just down the road from Texarkana at the Caddo River Festival on Friday, August 29, and Saturday, August 30. Enjoy shopping, food, entertainment, and loads of fun for the entire family.

The weekend will have a packed lineup of activities, including a talent show, baggo tournament, 5K race, and classic car show. Kids will have a blast with the bounce houses and face painting. There will be plenty of great food at the food trucks and vendors with products and crafts to see and buy, all set up in downtown Glenwood, located at 200 East Broadway.

A New Friday Night Kick-Off at the Caddo River Festival
This year’s event also kicks off with a brand-new feature: It's the 1st Annual Friday Night Cruise & Showdown. Starting at 6 PM on August 29, the showdown will light up downtown Glenwood with car limbo, a light show, a car audio sound-off, and “Draggin’ on Broadway.” Adding to the fun, the crowd will get to play judge.
On Sunday at 2 PM, don't miss the Caddo River Fest Pageant at Centerpoint High School.
With something for every age, the Caddo River Festival is the perfect way to celebrate the long Labor Day weekend. Whether you’re running in the 5K, showing off your ride, cheering on the talent show contestants, or just enjoying the food and atmosphere, the whole family will have a great time!
