The ducks are racing again! The Friends of the Foundation of CHRISTUS St. Michael Foundation will present The Great Texarkana Duck Race on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019, at Holiday Springs Water Park, 5501 Crossroads Parkway, Texarkana, Ark. The Duck Race will benefit cardiovascular services at the CHRISTUS St. Michael CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System.

The 7th Annual Hillier Community Health Fair is scheduled for Saturday, August 3, from 9AM to Noon at the Faith Assembly of God, 2001 Arkansas Blvd.

Beans to Bandaids, a Texarkana non-profit organization has run out of room at their original location and were lucky enough to purchase this new building on Pine St. When complete it will house Grace Free Clinic, a food pantry, and autism support group. There's a lot of work to do beforehand though, starting with lot cleanup.

Angel Fund Foundation, Inc. will host a Putt for a Purpose fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 7, at 6:30PM at the Texarkana Country Club, #1 Country Club Lane. Proceeds benefit qualifying cancer patients in the Texarkana community.
