Charles Kelley is hitting the road and bringing along someone special to open for him.

I guess I should start off by saying, Lady Antebellum is not breaking up. Just because Charles Kelley is trying out the solo thing, doesn't mean our beloved trio is calling it quits. That being said, Charles Kelley is gearing up for a big 2016.

His first-ever solo album, THE DRIVER comes out on Friday.

You should already be seeing a lot of him as he will be doing a lot of television promos surrounding the release. He will then embark on a solo tour called The Driver Tour. The show will run through the spring. Fans will receive a download of the album when they purchase their tickets, which is totally awesome!

Charles will also be bringing along his brother Josh Kelley who will be opening for him.

“This album was all about just making something I could be really proud of. So, to hear some of the early feedback that people are into the handful of songs that we’ve shared so far really confirms that taking this creative risk was worth it. It’s going to be great to get back out on the road now that we’ve got a full album of new songs to work with, and to have my brother out there with me is going to make it even cooler.”

Recently, Charles did a cover of Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball." I love his simple, subtle take.
