The Guinness World Record for Largest T-Shirt will be broken on Saturday, June 11, during the 2011 CMA Music Festival in Nashville, Tennessee. The T-shirt which is nearly the size of a football field, measures 170 feet wide and 262 feet long, weighs nearly three tons, and took six weeks to make. The T-shirt is so large it will be used to make 12,000 shirts, which will be donated to Keep the Music Playing, a charity initiative that supports music education in Metro Nashville Public Schools.

The record breaking T-Shirt will be unveiled with the help of former American Idol and country star Danny Gokey at Centennial Park. Representatives from Gildan and Guinness will be be on hand to witness the unveiling. 

Gildan is hosting and producing the entire event.

The event will conclude with a concert from James Otto and Love & Theft all part of the biggest music festival of the year in Music City.
