Cody Canada is coming to Abendigos Grill & Patio in Hochatown, OK.,  this Friday, June, 8, with Mike McClure. Both artists will be playing an acoustic set beginning at 7PM.

The former lead singer for Cross Canadian Ragweed is getting ready to release a brand new album, on June 29, titled, 3 which represents the Departed as a 3-piece band featuring, Jeremy Plato on bass and drummer Eric Hansen.

"This record sounds like Cross Canadian Ragweed between 2002 and 2006, and it goes back to the way I originally started writing songs," Canada says via The Boot. "It's observational writing. I was inspired by the bad news on the television. The good news, too. I was inspired by falling in love all over again with my wife, by watching my kids go through life, by politics, and by the modern world."

Cody Canada and the Departed is set to release their first single "Lipstick" on Radio Texas LIVE heard on Kicker 102.5 every Saturday evening at 7PM with host Buddy Logan.
